The Gyro Motor is an indispensable part of any gyroscopic system, as this motor has a huge impact on the precision delivered by the system, and its performance.
To meet this requirement of high precision, the Gyro Motor has to posses a large angular momentum, and subsequently a high moment of inertia, while being contained in the dimension reserved for it.
Other characteristics of the Gyro Motor: low vibration levels, low noise and humming and high stabilizing effect.
We are developing a three phase asynchronous induction motor that rotates at a high speed of approximately 27,900 RPM. This motor is part of a gyroscopic stabilization system, and is used for providing stabilized field-of-view [FOV] in tanks used in the defense sector.
